At SoundsLikeAnEarful.com, Two Metal Shark Studio Shows won awards the same week. Eric And The Legion, and The Ear Wash Show. Congratulations everyone, and a big thanks to Sounds Like An Earful as well!
Eric and the Legion won:
Eric & The Legion is a one-man show where he does comic book readthroughs (not reviews, read throughs) of classic “Legion of Superheroes” comic books. I had no idea anyone was doing comic book read throughs but it was surprisingly entertaining. Also, a big shout out to Eric (the host) for kicking off our podcast nods with a bunch of nominations. He deserves a bit of our ‘Pillar of Podcasters’ nod too.
"This nod goes to a show that is unique in its own right. Each week we give appreciation to a show that has a generally interesting schtick, format, focus or voice. These shows do something a little different."
The Ear Wash Show won:
Pillar Of Podcasters
The Earwash show was nominated for their ongoing effort to plug fellow podcasters on every episode. They spread the love around and for that, we nod at ‘em.
"This final nod is given to the show that keeps our community kickin’. Whether someone exposes podcasts to untapped groups of listeners or plugs a lot of other shows in their end credits – this nod goes to the folks who do some good for not just their own show but all the nerds involved in podcasting."
